WE ARE MORE THAN A MARKET

We stand for the best. We stand for talent. We stand for independents.

We work with independent local, seasonal and regional food and drink producers.

We showcase fledgling and established contemporary designers & makers.

We nurture traders of sustainable products, contemporary design products and vintage fashion, collectibles and furniture.

The Application process

All potential traders must apply online. The market organisers review applications in consultation with a rotating panel of retail experts.

Please give as much information in your form as possible. Images of previous market stalls / exhibitions are preferred, along with images of your current stock.

Once you have submitted your application form it will be assessed, and you will be notified as to whether or not we are able to offer you a pitch or a place on the waiting list.

Please leave plenty of time to apply for a specific market date. We have hundreds of applications each season and cannot guarantee that we will process an application in time if it is submitted less than 10 working days before a market.

If you have been successful we will notify you as to which upcoming dates, we can offer. Trader information with full details about your pitch will be sent to you approx. 10 days before each market.

What we are looking for

The market offers a fresh, diverse and complementary mix of products, goods and experiences. We have a large number of traders on our books, but are always keen to hear from talented traders who would like to join us. We strive to offer visitors a market experience like no other, and so actively seek out traders who offer something unique and interesting.

Below are some of the qualities that we are looking for. If this is you, then get in touch.

Please note: We look at all applications on an individual basis, but do not consider those from traders wishing to sell mass-produced or bulk-imported items.

Pitch Information

Pitches are awarded according to quality of product, and to ensure an even range of product type throughout the market.

Exact pitch locations are determined by the market organisers, and are assessed according to a number of factors.

It is not possible for traders to occupy one pitch permanently or to request exclusivity but regular traders can request to be kept on the same pitch at each market.

Designer-maker / Food Producer

A standard pitch comes with cover in the form of a 3m x 3m commercial standard gazebo or 3m x 1.2m traditional market stall.

There are some 3m x 3m pitches available to those traders with their own gazebo please indicate on your form whether you would prefer to bring your own gazebo.
