Stonham Barns Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday Car Boot 5th & 6th April 2026

WE ARE BACK and looking forward to a great 2026. Obviously the weather will be important but hoping to be open and able to start on the 5th April 2026.

We have the usual Shows on at the same time as the Car Boot and prices for the CAR BOOT have stayed the same.

Covered stalls are available for this Sunday and The Bank Holiday Monday as we are open Sunday & Monday but hurry up as there are only 20 & they go quickly. The Covered stalls offer a guaranteed spot on the main field close to food and toilets, have an overhead cover offering shade plus a table-top and are only ?£13.

The Thursday Car Boot will be re-opening again in 2026. We will fully advertise starting dates once we have got the Sundays going.

Events run at the same time as the Car Boot so a bigger crowd always expected. The first this year is The Open Dog Obedience Show on April 19th 2026 followed by The Stonham Motorcycle Show on 3rd May 2026, followed The Spring Break Kustom Kulture Show on 10th May 2026 followed by The Stonham Truck Show on 24th May 2026 Followed by Barnfest 26 on 31st May 2026. There are lots more which Ill add as we get closer to them.

On Sundays - 7am onwards is when most people arrive at the Car Boot although we cater for early arrivals (sellers) and as late as gone 8.45am.

So come & enjoy the special atmosphere at Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot. Its unlike all other car boots, full of amazing bargains and is the friendliest in Suffolk.
As usual no booking is needed to sell at the Car Boot so just turn up on the day.

Prices for 2026 are as below:
The Gazebos are now charged plus you can choose to take extra space but it means an extra cost - the equivalent of paying as if you have a trailer on the back (or 2 cars space - ?£10 for a car for example).

Cars ?£7, Small Vans ?£8.50 (still), Cars with trailers ?£10, Small Vans with trailers ?£11.50, Large Vans ?£13, Large Vans with Trailers ?£16, Cars with Gazebos ?£10, Covered stalls ?£13, Huge Vans ?£16. I do charge ?£8.50 for large cars with pick ups on the back.

Thursdays all vehicles ?£7 no space restrictions.

We are still the best priced on Sundays & still the friendliest Car Boot in Suffolk so come & sell from only ?£7 (all vehicles) and still free parking & buying & everyone welcome to just turn up and have a look around as theres so much to do at Stonham.

I've had a few questions about when we actually start. We always used to start at 8am and most people do still turn up at 8/8.30 but, we do get people arriving stupidly early onwards. So, it's really up to you. 7 onwards is sensible. We have enough space for everyone. Earliest arrival is from 5.30am but most sensible turn up from 7am. ON THURSDAY its 6AM for earliest arrivals (although we are reviewing times for next year).

We now have a licence allowing all Plant/Bulb Sellers or in fact any Gardening sellers to sell at the Car Boot. So NO RESTRICTIONS at all with any Gardening items. This is great news as I've had to turn so many people away. This is already bringing in a lot more sellers/buyers to Stonham. So, come and sell every Sunday. We are expecting some of the big plant and bulb sellers to start selling soon. Any food, drink and cake sellers will need to contact me as we already have this at the car boot.

The Covered stalls are unique - these offer some shade to sellers as well as a tabletop & protection against wind & rain. These guarantee a main field position near to toilets and food/drinks. You pull behind them, set up and sell and pack up and leave at the end of the day.

Everyone else wishing to sell at Stonham can just turn up on the day. So you can just turn up from 7am and sell and thats every Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays from March to October & now Thursdays too. We are also lucky to benefit from regular events at Stonham where the Car Boot crowd is often doubled & thats on top of a very big buying crowd.

Everyone loves Stonham as its unbeatable when the weather is good. It has a great atmosphere and a knowledgeable friendly crowd made up of all ages. Families young and old, dog friendly and it caters for the disabled.

We let Buyers in at the same time as sellers but ? please allow me to get everyone into position so please dont hinder this and please dont stand behind cars whilst they unload. No one is going to jump in and buy before you as it just isnt that kind of car boot. The reason we have become so popular is because we dont have people harassing sellers. If anyone oversteps their mark we will stop buyers entering the field until gone 7am.

We are outdoors only but offer covered stalls.
