How much does it cost to take part?

2 Wheeler Trader (scooter/push bike/motorbike) £25 + VAT per day

Car Trader or Pair Trader £45 + VAT per day

Middle Vehicle (VW Camper or Caravan) £60 + VAT per day

Display Vehicle or Pair Display – Free of charge

Can I book just one day, or the whole weekend?

You can book for one day or for the whole weekend. If you wish to book for one day only please indicate your preferred day (Saturday or Sunday) and we will endeavor to accommodate you. Please note, your place is not guaranteed unless you have paid for your pitch in full.

I am a vintage trader, but don't own a classic car. Can I still take part?

Yes you can! If you do not own a vehicle, we would be happy to match you with a classic car owner, but you must send details and pictures of your stock in the first instance in order to apply.

I want to display my car or bike only. Is there a charge?

No, but you would have to send details plus pictures of your vehicle to info@classiccarbootsale.co.uk for approval. You can also pair up with a trader (someone who does not have a classic car, but has vintage stock to sell). You will not be allowed access to the event if you turn up with your vehicle on the day without having pre-registered.

What times would we need to set up and vacate the site?

We will be staggering the set up times between 7:30am – 9:45am. We will contact you with details of what time you expect you to arrive on site. The event finishes at 6pm and cars will be able to leave once all members of the public have left the site.

What time does the show open to the public and how much is the entry?

The show will open at to the public at 10am and it will cost £5 to enter £4 to locals. Tickets can only be purchased in the day.

Am I allowed to bring guests in?

If you are trading or displaying a vehicle your guests must arrive on site with you, we will not be providing wristbands once the show has started.

Is it ok to set up a gazebo or something similar to provide cover?

Yes, you can set up a gazebo 3x3m only if you have booked to bring one. Gazebos must meet with current fire retardant standards, must be in a good and presentable order and is securely tied down, posing no danger to the public. The Pier team will provide special fixings that work with the pier planks, but you will need to provide a rachet strap or equivalent to tie this to. This means that no additional heavy weights will be required. Please also note that market type coverings will not be allowed.

Can we bring all the stock down in a van or non-vintage car, and would we need to unload and park the vehicle elsewhere?

Yes, you can unload your stock from a non-vintage vehicle, but we request that you unload as soon as possible upon arrival due to limited space. Once unloaded, you MUST move your vehicle off site and find somewhere else to park.

I want to leave early – do I have to stay the whole day?

Yes, you are required to stay. Due to limited space and a risk to the public, it is very difficult for you to leave the site once parked up and in position. Please do not book unless you are sure you can stay the whole day with us. You will only be allowed to leave in an emergency or in exceptional circumstances. In this instance, please contact a member of the team first who will marshal you safely off the site.

Are there refreshments available at the event?

Yes, we have a well stocked bar, and some of London’s finest street food traders who will be happy to serve you throughout the day! You will also be able to buy food and hot drinks upon arrival and set up.

I have booked for the whole weekend. Can I sleep on site?

No due to security you will not be able to sleep on site.

Is there overnight security?

Yes there will be an overnight security.

Are there any storage facilities for my stock overnight?

No, sorry, but all stock must be kept with your vehicle. We are also not responsible for any damage or losses to any goods or vehicles on site.

Am I allowed to restock?

Yes, we actively encourage you to bring in fresh, high quality stock. If you do need to restock, please ensure you are ready to trade however prior to the opening of the show.
