Event Details
On the 4th Saturday of each month Crafty Praxis and The Byram Arcade hold an Art and Craft Fair, featuring 10 different artists designers, both local and national. No two months are alike, each month there is a good selection of Art, Jewellery, Textiles, Cards, Cakes and other items for sale as part of the fair, not to mention the three floors of independent shops that permanently reside in the beautiful Victorian arcade. I limit the number of similar stalls to keep things fair for everyone!
The Byram Arcade is a beautiful 3 floor covered Victorian arcade full of independent shops and fabulous cafe, located on Westgate in Huddersfield town centre. It is a stones throw away from both the bus and train station and there loading bays and short stay parking on Station Street, directly behind which is ideal for loading/unloading. There is long stay parking behind the train and at the bus station for around £4 all day on a Saturday, there is cheaper parking but these are the closest. The fairs run from 10-5 but the arcade itself is open to the public from 8:30 so there is ample time to set up before the beginning of the fair.
