Tenterden Food and Drink Festival Kent - The third Tenterden Food & Drink Festival following our successful launch in 2017. The previous two years have shown that Tenterden is a strong all round event with products and produce selling well across the board. Bread and cheese for example are as popular with the visitors as takeaway food and the children's fair ground rides do steady business throughout the weekend. We all know that it is becoming increasingly difficult to build events where all participants do business, but Tenterden is certainly one of those rare examples and, given good weather, this festival has all the right ingredients for an excellent weekend of trading, with an informed and enthusiastic public, a family friendly environment and backdrop of independent retail shops in the High Street.

It is worth noting the catchment that Tenterden can call upon for its customer base. Not only does it have a local population living in the town who are used to shopping at high end independent retailers, but geographically, Tenterden is central to a good number of smaller up market villages on the Kent/Sussex boarder. These villagers will all come into Tenterden if there is a special event in town.
