Event Details
Wakefield Council is delighted to announce the return of the Tour De Yorkshire on Friday 4th May when Stage Two of the race, featuring both the womens and mens races, will pass through the district visiting South Elmsall, Pontefract and Castleford. A full day of celebrations and activities are planned in Pontefract town centre and we are currently looking to attract traders selling high quality produce, scrumptious hot food or hand-crafted goods and unique crafts and gifts to create a vibrant and varied market.

Stalls/pitches will be £18.80 each and trading times will be 9am until 4pm. Traders are required to have their own Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of £5 million per claim.

All food traders must be registered with the Environmental Health Department at their local authority and are required to achieve a minimum rating of 3* on their local authority rating scheme.

Please contact our friendly Speciality Markets Team on 01924 307825 for further details or to request an application pack.
