The Donkey Derby, Family Fun day and dog Show takes place at the beautiful surroundings of Polesden Lacy and is jointly organised by the National Trust and Leatherhead & District Lions Club.

Parking and entrance to the house, gardens and the event is free for the day to the general public.

Now in its sixth year and with approximately seven thousand people attending last year, the event offers the opportunity for retailers and craftsmen to sell their wares and charities and community groups to increase awareness of their cause and raise funds, The emphasis of this event is to provide a low cost day of entertainment for the whole family. As well as the Donkey Derby there will be many other attractions including a fun dog show, children's fair, bouncy castles, train rides, donkey rides, live bands, stalls selling a variety of products and many traditional family games with catering and refreshments available throughout the day.

We are already fully booked for catering and ice cream stalls and cannot accept any further bookings.
