Event Details
Our Continental Markets are regular visitors to Bridgnorth twice a year, but this Sunday 2nd September event is a particular favourite as our continental traders set up on the high street alongside the Italian Auto Moto Festival.

It is always a wonderful day which has as all types of Italian cars, motorcycles and scooters collect in the ancient and picturesque town of Bridgnorth and with the continental market gives the centre a Mediterranean feel.

The continental market comprises carefully selected stalls which will trade in High Street Bridgnorth from 0900-1700 both days. The market will comprise international traders selling top quality artisan-produced foods and craft products from around the world.

Flavours of the World is organised by international market operator Savoir Fayre and facilitated by Bridgnorth Council with a view to bringing more footfall and consumer spend into town.

Locations and Audience
Flavours of the World is a posh continental-type touring market which works in major town and city centres and appealing retail locations each week from February to Christmas. Its a bit like a weekly town centre food festival but with each seller having an exclusive on their particular line and site-rents set at a fraction of Food Festival rates.

All our events are heavily advertised as they are designed to bring additional footfall to town centres. We typically trade 3 days to 4 days a week bang on pitch. We work affluent towns and city centres; we dont work in places where there is no money, poor footfall or where we are hidden away.

Suitable for

The markets comprise international class traders selling top quality prepared street foods, artisan food produce and a limited number of crafts from around the world. They are ideal for both making direct sales on the market as well as promoting repeat business through after-show online mail order as your product will be showcased to a different audience every week.

Most of our current regular venues are in the South of England. We go as far as Liverpool in the north and St Ives in the west, the Isle of Wight in the south. A lot of our venues are around London. But were also building a second team which will operate on venues north of the Trent. You can choose which events you want to work. You dont have to trade with us every week.

The Cost and Technical

Flavours of the World events are between £14 and £16 per frontage metre per day/ You bring your own gazebo; so if you have a 3m stall you will pay £48 a day max. You pay at the market. Stall rent includes 1 x all weather 16 amp power supply (blue plug) and rubbish clearance. We take our own massive super silent generator with us and you can have more power at small additional charge. The only other addition is when we use overnight security (if the market is rigged overnight as it usually is when we stay over) the charge is £20 per night per stall.

Booking on

All our bookings are made through The Market People a market and event booking system used by us and other event operators.

https://www.themarketpeople.com/TMP/register/MarketTrader

You register as a trader for free. It asks for a lot of details like insurance, hygiene certs and identity documents (have them scanned and ready) and stall photographs because that is what local licensing authorities need.

But once you are registered we wont ask you to add them again and your pass will get you on any market we list (ours and everyone elses) and will shortly cover all London Markets and a lot of London events. Once you are registered, booking-on to any event thereafter takes one click about 20 seconds per event.

Please complete your free trader application and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me./www.themarketpeople.com/TMP/public/eventProfile.do?eventCode=535
