Aero Legends will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain in style with a period themed 1940s Air show, Attractions at the Air show will include flying displays featuring representative aircraft of the Battle of Britain this will take place during the afternoon and early evening . As well as Spitfires and Hurricanes other aircraft of the period such as the Tiger Moth and a Storch will also take part . An airfield attack scenario will form part of the display, where a German Me 109 will attack the airfield with pyrotechnic explosions and the Spitfires will be scrambled to give chase. As well as the Air side of things we will have attractions on the ground which include Classic period Vehicles, a Static Ground running merlin engine, Model Steam Engine Rides, children's traditional fairground rides and entertainment in the form period music artists performing on stage.
The Air show will open its doors to the Public at 10:00am and the display will end at 7:00pm. In the Evening there will be a separate event in the form of the Battle of Britain Ball.
We are expecting over 3,000 members of the public on the day as we have some special aircraft appearances which cant yet be disclosedwww.headcornevents.co.uk/event.php?eventid=16
