Company Overview
While I was living in Spain I started making shawls and scarves for myself as I could not find things in the colour I wanted. Then friends asked me to knit somethings for them and one thing lead to another and Wrapped in Colour was started. The idea for the logo came from when I was small and believed the fairies were responsible for knitting the spider webs.

I love the challenge of knitting unique and elegant items that make the most of the fibre and colour. I especially enjoy using hand-dyed yarns.
Products & Services
I specialise in unique lace shawls, scarves, gloves, mitts and hats. Everything is carefully hand-knitted by me using quality yarns such as popular merino, soft alpaca and amazingly soft and luxurious mohair and cashmere.

As well as selling things at fairs and online I make things to order. Sometimes it is because somebody likes an item but wants it in a different colour, or they want an item made in a different size. Other times it is for a special occasion and I make the item from scratch, finding the design and the right colour. On other occasions, I am supplied the pattern and asked to make it as the customer is unable to make it themselves.
Company Profile
My name is Christine. I was born and bred on the Isle of Wight and in 2009 I moved back to the Island after teaching in Spain for 20 years. I have been knitting for more years than I care to count and always have some knitting in my bag so that wherever I am if there is a spare moment I can do some knitting.
