This is actually one of my favourite upcycled frames – this gilt frame just screams 1950s/1960s. It’s square (obviously) and used to hold a 5” x 5” (13cm x 13cm) photo. The velvet pad contains nine little pockets or pouches that could hold almost any item of jewellery, from earrings to rings, brooches to chains. In case the picture doesn’t capture the colour properly, it’s on what I’d describe as the ‘orange’ side of red rather than the ‘blue’.There’s a stand on the back so it – and the jewellery on/in it – can be displayed on a dressing table.
