The Weald of Kent Country Craft Show returns in grand style for its 40th show promising a delightful bank holiday weekend filled with artisan shopping, delectable street food, traditional crafts, and family-friendly activities. Taking place from Saturday 4th May, to Monday 6th May 2024, at the picturesque Penshurst Place in Tonbridge, Kent, the event is open daily from 10am to 5pm.

This event is a celebration of Kents countryside heritage, where visitors come to appreciate the unique beauty of thousands of handcrafted items. The show has become one of the most popular events in Kent, attracting thousands of visitors each year.

Sara Kirchel, Marketing Manager of the Weald of Kent Country Craft Show said: �The Weald of Kent Country Craft Show is a long-standing gem in the South East of England having been in business for four decades. The shows success can be attributed to staying true to its roots and bringing together the most interesting crafts both locally and from across the country.�

�Our talented experts specialising in Britains traditional and heritage crafts, such as basketry, willow-weaving and woodcarving, will demonstrate first-hand their incredible flair, passion and unique techniques. Many heritage crafts are now listed on the �Red List of Endangered Crafts so its now more than ever that we need to celebrate and support these wonderful craft traditions and skillsets.�

Visitors can look forward to over 150 stalls showcasing diverse handmade products, from homeware and living décor, to outdoor and garden essentials, fashion, accessories, health and wellness products, jewellery, art, and photography. The expansive outdoor marquees will be brimming with unique items crafted by talented artists and makers.

Weald of Kent Country Craft Show goes beyond shopping, offering a full day of entertainment for all ages. Visitors of all ages can enjoy live music, traditional craft demonstrations, falconry displays, laser clay pigeon shooting, axe throwing, giant outdoor games, vintage swing boats, and a carousel. Children can explore the adventure playground for free with an adult Weald of Kent Country Craft Show ticket.

The event boasts a food and drink hall featuring award-winning spirits and liqueurs, antipasti, oils and vinegars, flavoured cheeses, specialty sausages, and an array of sweet and savoury treats. Street food enthusiasts can indulge in succulent hog roasts, flavourful Greek cuisines, and sweet and savoury crepes. The food area is complemented by a band tent, providing the perfect spot to relax with a refreshing drink and soak in the ambiance.

Take advantage of the early bird discount and save £2 on adult tickets by purchasing online before midnight on 28th April 2024. After this date, adult tickets will be £10 each. Kids go free, and free parking is available, making it an affordable and accessible outing for families. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.
