This winter brings you two chances to stock up all your handmade goodies before Christmas with both the Winter Handmade Festival on 5th-6th November and the Christmas Handmade Festival on 26-27th November at Uppermill Civic Hall.At both events the hall will be packed full with over 55 stalls boasting a huge selection of handmade and creative stalls for all your festive treats, decorations, goodies and gifts.
The event is free to enter and is collecting money for local small charities by running a tombola of handmade products generously provided by the stallholders. The Winter event is collecting for Ruddis Retreat and the Christmas event is The Jennifer Trust for SMA
There are also free balloons for the children and a lucky dip and some interactive stalls for them to enjoy. The guest of honour Father Christmas is visiting from 12pm at the Christmas Handmade Festival. He will be meeting the children and giving out a few early Christmas gifts in his grotto for just £2.50 including the visit and gift, with a chance to buy a snapshot of the visit to take home for just £2.
The SCN pop-up teashop is provided by Diane and her team from Cuppa Cupcake Cuppa Coffee so if you fancy a delicious festive lunch or maybe a brew and a mince pie then pop along to enjoy their delicious menu.
A great display of festive artisan products from wood to metalwork, pies to cupcakes, jewellery to gifts, artwork, sculpture, ceramics, glass, felt, knitted and sewn and much, much more. So if you fancy treating yourself or someone else or maybe just fancy a browse, then pop in to one of the Saddleworth Handmade Festival events this November.
