The origins of Nims Serenity trace back to the deeply personal journey of founder Elaine Davis, a skilled botanical formulator and holistic therapist. In the early 1990s, driven by the need to soothe her young son’s eczema-prone skin, Elaine began creating natural remedies free from petrochemicals and harsh irritants. Inspired by traditional knowledge and her own childhood experiences with natural care, she developed handcrafted skincare products using the healing properties of plants, oils, and botanicals. But Elaine’s journey did not stop at the surface. As her understanding of wellness deepened, she recognised that the skin is not just a protective barrier, it reflects what’s happening within. This led her to expand Nims Serenity into the realm of massage therapy, embracing a holistic approach that sees the body as an interconnected system of emotional, physical, and energetic health.

Elaine trained in diverse massage modalities, including Raynor neuropathic massage, to address not just muscular discomfort, but also tension held deep within the body. Her practice focuses on identifying and gently releasing wellness blockages, supporting the body’s natural healing rhythms, and restoring harmony from the inside out.

Today, Nims Serenity offers a unique blend of natural skin and hair care with therapeutic bodywork, a sanctuary where handcrafted botanical products meet the healing power of touch.
