White line woodcut is a fun way of achieving prints utilising several different colours from a single wood block, worked in watercolour and without the need of a press.White line woodcut was invented in the 1920's in Provincetown, US, as a way of using many colours on a single woodblock. It is really simple to do, using just linocut tools, a piece of plywood, and a set of watercolours. You will achieve a variety of effects depending on the paper you use and it is great fun.
