Event Details
Watton Antiques & Collectables Street Market - There is no doubt why everyone seems to enjoy visiting Antique & Collectors Fairs. You can find something unusual that will be the standout piece for your home and, and with some competitive haggling, you can get it at a great price. If you want to put a fresh stamp on your home, or are starting a collection, a while spent at WATTON - ANTIQUES & COLLECTABLES STREET MARKET is usually productive and very enjoyable. There will be approximately up to 100 dealers offering a wide range of 'goodies' from Small Items of Furniture, Jewellery, Glass, Ephemera, Silver, Gold, with well know ceramics like Royal Worcester, Crown Derby, Beswick, Royal Doulton etc etc. You will be sure to go home with something, although possibly not what you had in mind. "Antiques & Collectables" is perhaps a loose term, as the merchandise also includes vintage & Retro clothing and accessories even flea-market-type curios. Unsurprisingly, given the number of dealers, the variety of items is staggering. Your hearts will certainly beat faster with what you see is available on each stall, so much so, that often you find something you didnt know you were looking for, and usually it's something that evokes a childhood memory, that your dear Grandparents owned.
Luckilly there is an air of conviviality among the stallholders and, the public are made welcome and benefit from obtaining trade prices. The Dealers put prices on their goods, but few fair-goers will pay the price on the label and half the fun of buying from the dealers at is the sense of achievement that you paid less than the labelled price. The Queens Hall, in Watton will also host a number of Stalls together with a "Vintage Kitchen" offering Homemade Cakes, Sandwiches & All Day Breakfasts
