On Sunday 21st May 2017 Urban Village Fete is back for a its third year. Curated by HemingwayDesign, Urban Village Fete is an alternative, contemporary twist on the traditional summer fete for the Peninsulas pioneering residents and all Londoners.

Having attracted more than 25,000 visitors in the past two years, 2017s event looks to be a bigger, bolder celebration of the best in design, music, art, innovative events and modern craftsmanship, right at the heart of Greenwich Peninsula.

The free day out will feature a range of curated designer

marketplaces, street food vendors, art & design workshops, unique pop-ups and a series of talks hosted by BBC Radio Londons Robert Elms.

For music lovers, Gilles Peterson, the iconic British DJ and owner of Brownswood Recordings will be at the helm all day. There will be walkabout entertainment throughout and a line-up of interactive workshops for all ages including the chance to become a DJ for the day with The Charity Shop DJ.weareurbanvillage.co.uk/about/
