Following two very successful years we are delighted to announce that we will now be holding our Christmas market on an annual basis

Situated in a fantastic and prominent location on the A421 between Thornborough and Buckingham, this years market will be held on Saturday 14th December, Anticipated to be one of the busiest trading days for Twigs Christmas tree sales, the market and tree sales will be well advertised in local publications, on social media and on the main road outside the nurseries as well as via email campaign to all of our existing customers and local leafleting and posters.

This year we have decided to trade on the same day as the local Christmas parade which is held in the morning, there will be lots of people already out and about on this day and we will be encouraging as many as possible to visit this already well attended event, For this reason timings will be slightly different this year.

The local parade finishes at 12:30 and so we have decided that the market will officially run from 12 midday until 6pm, however as Twigs will be open from 9am traders are welcome to arrive at their leisure starting from 9am which will offer the opportunity of possible extra sales in the morning should you choose to arrive early but also a relaxed approach to setting up giving you plenty of time, it also offers our customers the option of later shopping when twigs looks amazing lit up with a warm glow from the Christmas lights.

We are looking to have around 20 to 25 high quality stalls offering a wide variety of products, Around half of the pitches have already been sold to return traders and people on our mailing list therefore to maintain a high and diverse standard we will be running an application process and would ask that you send pictures of your products and stall set up when applying.

Pitches are priced at £30 for a 6ft x 6ft space +£5 if you require electricity, you will need to provide your own tables and chairs.

The market will be held under our permanent walled canopies so you will be dry however we would still class this as an outdoor event so please dress accordingly

Twigs will be offering tea, coffee and cake from their delightful coffee shop so we regret that we will not be accepting applications for coffee however we are looking for a trader to serve hot food throughout the day (Terms to be agreed)

We also have half of the market set up as a food market and still have a couple of pitches remaining for food traders, in particular we would be very keen to find a cheese trader to go along side our chutney trader, olives and some alcohol stalls, Gin or craft beer etc, It would also be very nice to find someone doing roasted chestnuts.
