Event Details
Ryarsh lies a mile west of West Malling midway between Maidstone and Sevenoaks, at the foot of the North Downs. It has a direct access from the A20 and is easily and quickly reached from junctions 3 & 4 of the M20

Previous events have been a great success with considerable sums raised for charity. Help for Heroes, Parkinsons, Leukemia Research, Heart of Kent Hospice Air Ambulance Leybourne Riding Centre for the disabled to name but a few together with a range of local smaller less known organisations

Held on the 4-acre village green the Fete has become something of a local institution with attendances growing yearly. In 2017 well over 1000 of all ages, including entire family groups who visit relations for that weekend especially to attend.

We seek to offer a busy fun filled day with lots of music, mixed entertainment and competitions, varied stalls, and a wide range of food and drink, basically something for everyone. We are always looking to introduce new and exciting stalls and entertainment but have a policy of avoiding competition, only one stall per use although some minor overlap is inevitable. This helps stallholders to maximise their returns but equally offers a wider diverse range of attractions to our visitors.

Stalls are encouraged to dress up and look good and we can sometimes assist including provision of an electricity supply although need to be aware of requirements in advance

As previously we can offer stall pitches on the village green or in the village hall adjoining and are also happy for cars and small vans to be parked on the green behind the stalls which we find assists exhibitors with a large or heavy stock. Pitch Fees will remain as 2017 at £20 for a pitch measuring circa 3m x 3m. ( 32 stalls booked so far 7th February)

For 2018 we have booked the Chillbillies band who were brilliant in 2017 and Arnvid Husstand, a Viking Re-enactment group with a range of exhibits simulated battles and opportunities for both adult and children to get actively involved.

We would also welcome ideas from you and equally feel free to speak with parties you know who you feel would further compliment the day although avoiding duplication of uses as above.

Should you have any questions or require further information please feel free to make contact by e mail as above or 01732 872113 or 07831 642902

Looking forward to hearing from you

Regards David Storey
