Fun Days & Family FairsEvent Details
We are thrilled to announce our first ever ReCreation Day! The free, fun filled, family event will take place on Saturday 22 September 2018 at Dale End Park, Ironbridge, TF8 7EG from 10am to 4pm. The event is being hosted by Telford & Wrekin Council and Veolia, the recycling and waste contractor for the borough. The ReCreation Day will showcase local talented artists who give items a new lease of life! There will also be local food and drink on offer and plenty of activities to entertain children.
There are a series of free workshops for children, including Whack It Smack It, who make musical instruments from recycling and rubbish. And Scrappies who do crafts from recycling and rubbish.
We hope you can join us for a fantastic day out.
Please note there is no charge for entry or to take part in the children's workshops. There will be costs for food, drink and purchases from the stall holders. If you would like to have a stall please contact Sarah on sarah.maythorne@veolia.com.www.facebook.com/events/630458497286512/
