Wakefield Council is pleased to announce the Christmas Lights Switch-On Event in Pontefract on Monday 27th November 2017. The market will be held on Market Place close to the market hall within easy reach of car parks and public transport links. We are currently looking to attract traders selling high quality produce, Christmas themed goods, hand-made goods, unique crafts and gifts and scrumptious hot food to create a vibrant and varied market. The market will be open for trading from 10.00am until 7.00 pm and stalls are £35 each. Traders will be required to bring their own stall sheets and clips to cover the roof of the stall as these are not provided. Traders are asked to embrace the theme of the event by wearing their Christmas jumpers and decorating their stalls in keeping with the Christmas theme.
