Welcome to the new Summer Matlock Food & Drink Festival at Hall Leys Park.
With a wide range of locally sourced food and drink there will be something for everyone, with thirst quenching Gin cocktails, Pimms & Prosecco, Real Ale and Cider why not stay all day and soak up the fabulous atmosphere.
Then take a stroll around the handpicked Artisan Food Stalls with cheese, pastries, pickles and sauces. For those with a sweet tooth there will be fudge, cakes laden with chocolate and handmade marshmallows.
Take a peek into our Craft marquee with delights from local craftsmen and women selling their not on the high street trinkets.
There will be lots to see and do, with fabulous live music throughout the day, live performances and lots to keep the little ones amused whilst you are shopping.
Dare you enter our Man V Food Challenge and compete against other contestants for the coveted Bruce Bogtrotter Trophy in a race to be the first to finish the sweetest / hottest or sourest food!!!
As always we will not forget the furry members of the family so there will be lots of stalls and treats for your pooches too.
Hall Leys Park has wonderful facilities on offer, there is a fantastic childrens play area, a boating lake, a miniature train line, skate park, and lots of room for picnicking on the greens or by the river.www.madhattersevents.com/Customers nearest car park is by the railway station near Sainsburys. Stall Holders can park behind their stalls provided they don't need to be moved until the event is over.
