Mansfield Garden & Craft Festival 2018 - Enter our competitions or just have a great day out!

The Mansfield Garden & Craft Festival now in it's 6th year, is an annual two day event with free to enter competitions, horticultural on Saturday and Best in Baking on Sunday. There are cash prizes, medals, trophies and certificates to be won.

Prize money for the Horticultural Show is £15, £10, £5 for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places plus £50 for Best Allotment, Best in Show Flowers and Best in Show Vegetables.

Local schools are invited to enter to win £100, £30, £20 plus a free gardening gift pack for every school who enters. This year we have new categories for schools - the tallest Sunflower and 'Life of my Vegetable' where school children and grow vegetables, record their progress in a little booklet as well as winning certificates and prizes.

In addition there are over 60 gift, craft and food stalls, entertainment, family activities and on Saturday the first 100 families through the door will recieve a free goody bag of fresh veg to make a soup from Troops Fruit & Veg wholesaler, who are based in Rock Valley.

The two day event is free to enter with prize draws and Best in Baking sampling too. Gardening Schedules and Baking entry forms are now available.

We are pleased to say that this event attracts some of the world record holders for the biggest grown vegetables in the UK so please come and see these for yourself!
