Enjoy a great day out crafting with daughters, mothers, sisters or friends!

Spend a special day crafting together, making jewellery and learning hand printing. Make beautiful bead jewellery in the morning and after lunch learn block printing techniques to decorate a tote bag.

This workshop will introduce you to the techniques of creating beautiful bead jewellery. Come along and make bracelets, earrings and necklaces to complement your wardrobe. If you have some favourite beads that need mending, re-stringing or re-working then bring them along and give them a new lease of life!

After lunch discover the ancient art of block printing using hand carved wooden blocks made in rural India by skilled artisans. Block printing can be used to create designs on bags, soft furnishing, clothing, lampshades and more. In this workshop you will experiment with colours and designs on your sampler piece and then move on to a tote bag with you own unique design. If time permits further items such as tea towels, scarves and aprons can be bought on the day for you to print.

Suitable for beginners and improvers from age 13+.

£45 per person.
Includes all materials, tea & coffee and a light lunch. Please bring an apron to protect your clothes during block printing.
