Event Details
Fayre details :The Hadleigh Community Group “ Hadleigh Community Summer Fayre is scheduled to be on Sunday 2nd September 2018 starting at 10:00 till 16:00. This will be at John Burrows Park Hadleigh SS7 2NQ. Castle Point Council have given their approval for the event to take place.
We are planning on 1k to 1,500 people, but it could far exceed this number; it is the first time such an event has been held at the park.
Our posters & flyers have been delivered to the local infant and junior schools prior to them breaking up for the summer break.
Our publicity campaign has already started at the Hadleigh Fair run by St. Peters church at the end of June and a Business newsletter promoting this fayre and an 80s Disco has been delivered to local traders.
Shop window posters across Hadleigh are in the process of going up along with larger posters at Hadleigh Old Fire station and St. James church, Hadleigh.
Arrangements have been made for two press articles to be done. The first at the beginning of August and the second at the end of August.
We have a one page spread in the local free newsletter that is distributed to all households in Castlepoint
Two weeks advertising in the local papers
Our web site has had the fayre poster up for a few weeks now.
Social Media campaigns on Facebook and Nextdoor.com have started and as we approach the event updates will be applied to refocus peoples attention.
We are buying 6 huge banners that will be posted around the key routes to the park a week or so prior to the event, along with A3 coloured notices at every major junction.
We have already booked Leigh Brewery, Prosecco van, a stage made formed by two lorries from Dawes Heath timber for the four bands that will be playing throughout the day, zorbes, climbing wall and fairground style amusements, Jays Jungle Animals and many more. The Arena will be hosting a dog fun show (sponsored by Morrisons, Hadleigh) Karate show , local choir etc.
Car Parking Information
Car parking will be behind the stalls for cars/vans.. lorries will be parked in allocated parking
