Ewhurst Big Day Out is a charity event to raise funds for Ewhurst Parish Church. This is the fourth time this biennial event has been held. Footfall is about 1000.

Entrance fees are low, £3pp with children under 8 having free entrance.

Entrance to the event includes free access to classic cars, a polo match, performing arts group, tree chopping demo model aeroplanes and wandering Jazz Band to put people in the mood!.

This year we have a large Climbing Wall for people to try (this is charged for).

There is a free classic bus that connects the Polo Club to local bus services ensuring people can easily get to the event - there is plenty of free parking on site with disabled parking available. This means people have plenty of money left to spend at the stalls.

We encourage a wide range of stalls at the event and position them carefully so that similar stalls are well separated. All stalls are outside and tables and gazebos etc are provided by the stall holder.

Advertising is done through local media, including radio, roadside posters, local posters in villages/towns in Guildford/Dorking/Horsham area and flyers to businesses and local centres. The advertising begins in June and continues until the event. It is also on the church website and the Polo club website. We already have many stalls returning for this fourth year but always welcome new ones.

There is an evening event featuring The Overtures, a brilliant, nationally recognised covers band, a seven piece Jazz Band and a Madness Tribute Band to get you rocking! This is separate from the Day event and does not have trading stalls, although traders are welcome to buy tickets for this £25pp. Traders who do NOT have eve tickets must leave by the 5pm deadline.

Separate entrance and car parking for stall holders. Car access to stalls for loading/unloading at start/end of event. No cars at stalls during event. Customer parking in different area of the grounds but easy walking distance on flat/very slight slope mown grass. Disabled parking close to stalls with flat mown grass access
