Event Details
Basildon Village Market is a monthly market that runs 7 months of the year and is a gathering place for the entire village to come together. Footfall is between 100 and 150 and we are growing that figure each month as new and interesting stalls come on board. We advertise strongly on Facebook and other social media and try to get a leaflet through the door of every house in the village. Backed up by strong signposting through the village, and the village hall being used by the local football groups, it becomes a real hub for the village. People use it as an excuse to meet up with neighbours and friends and enjoy a chinwag and a mooch around.www.facebook.com/basildonvillagemarket
Car Parking Information
The Basildon Village Hall is supported by a large car park, with three spaces near the doors reserved for disabled people. We ask stallholders to unload their vehicles, then remove them either to the end of the car park, or out onto Bethesda Street to allow customers unfettered access to the car park. Although it can become crowded, wheelchair access is easy from all points of the car park.
