The event is an annual event held by geocachers.This is the main day of a week long camping event.
Geocaching is hobby where geocachers hunt for hidden containers using a GPS or smartphone. See www.geocaching.com for more details.
Geocachers are a real mixture of people, many like hand crafted items, all are keen on the outdoors. The following things appeal to cachers in relation to the hobby...
Outdoor clothing, GPS equipment, walking equipment, pet/animal supplies, camping supplies, caravans, tents, flags.
There will be a real mixture of ages.
We are in line for over 3000 visitors for the day.
The event is being held in the grounds of Newby Hall and Gardens, Ripon, North Yorkshire, 10am - 4m Saturday 4 August 2018.
